Every, some and any can be joined with thing to form indefinite pronouns.

  Everything is okay with me.
 
  Something lives under my house. It comes out at night.
 
  Is something wrong?
 
  I can't see anything. I must be blind.
 

Nothing is another indefinite pronoun. It is only used as the subject of a sentence.

  Nothing is as complex as the human brain.
 
  Nothing happened.
 

Every, some and any can also be joined with body and one to form indefinite pronouns that refer to people.

  Everyone can come to my party except you.
 
  Everybody knows that.
 
  Somebody gave me a present. Who was it?
 
  Can anybody help me?
 
  Does anyone want to come to the library with me?
 
  Someone sat on me.
 

Nobody and no one are only used as subjects.

  Nobody loves me.
 
  That's not true. I'm sure that somebody loves you.
 
  No one told me about Henry. That's so sad!
 
  Nobody made you do it.
 

Every, some, any, no can also be joined with where.

  I'll work anywhere but here.
 
  There are crickets everywhere!
 
  Nowhere is as cold as Antarctica.
