Enable Sound
By default, sound is enabled. You might want to turn the sound off to improve responsiveness and improve download time.

Add sound to drop down vocabulary lists
When this option is selected, you can hear the pronunciation of the words within the supplementary vocabulary list by placing the cursor over them. If you are using Windows Media Player there is a slight delay

Media Players
Each media player has its advantages and disadvantages. Real Player works great in Netscape/Mozilla browsers but not so well in internet explorer. If you are using Windows Media Player (the default for windows and Internet Explorer) you might want to download the most recent version. The site won't work properly with version 7 and some versions 8. Quicktime 6 in many ways works best, however not all the quick time sound files have been loaded up yet. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
