From 是一个前置介词相当于‘来自于’的意思。 preposition

	He is american. He is from the United States.	他是美国人，他来自美国。
	We are australian. We are from Australia. 我们是澳大利亚人，我们来自澳大利亚。
	She is chinese. She is from China.	她是中国人，她来自中国。

除了像the United States 和 the Netherlands 这样的词，在特定的地点前要加上定冠词。
