Les Ordres m. Commands

To boss someone around, use the present tense, however drop the final s if the conjugation ends in es or as .

Mange! Eat!
Parlez français seulement! Speak only French!
Chantez-moi une chanson! Sing me a song!
Va faire les courses! Go run the errands.
Ouvrons la fenêtre! Ça pue. Lets open the window. It stinks!

There are a few irregular commands which are based on the subjunctive.

être
  to be Sois
      Soyez
      Soyons
     
avoir
  to have Aie
      Ayez
      Ayons
savoir
  to know Sache
      Sachez
      Sachons
     
vouloir
  to want Veuille*
      Veuillez*
       

*The vouloir forms are used to politely ask someone to do something. They aren't really orders.

Veuillez vous asseoir! Please sit down.
Aie pitié de moi! Have mercy on me!

Object pronouns always follow the command. The disjunctive pronouns are used except for the third person singular and third person pronouns.

Donne-moi un bisou! Give me a kiss.
Aide-le! Help him!
Mange-la! Eat it!
Réveille-toi! Wake up
