Pronombres Objetivos

Casi todas las oraciones tienen un sujeto (subject) y un objeto (object). El sujeto desempeña la acción. La acción se desempeña en un objeto o a través de un objeto.

  She saw a ghost.
Ella vio un fantasma.
  I hear the monster. Hide!
Oigo al monstruo. ¡Escóndete!
  John will speak to the teacher.
John hablará con el profesor.

Los pronombres de sujeto se usan siempre cuando el pronombre actue como sujeto. Cuando un pronombre se usa como objeto, se hace uso de pronombres objeto especiales.

  They saw me.
Ellos me vieron.
  She understood us.
Ella nos comprendió.
  We heard them.
Nosotros les escuchamos.
  They are speaking to her.
Ellos están hablando con ella.
  She talked to them.
Elle habló con ellos.

Los pronombres objeto you y it son iguales a los pronombres sujeto.

  I love you.
Yo te amo.
  They want it.
Ellos lo quieren.

  I will do it tomorrow.
Yo lo voy a hacer mañana.
  They did it yesterday.
Ellos lo hicieron ayer.
  She did it today.
Ella lo hice hoy.
  We are doing it now. Estamos haciéndolo ahora.

Diciendo right now (ahora mismo) expresa mucha mas inmediación que simplemente decir now.

  The students are doing it right now.
 Los estudiantes lo están haciendo ahora mismo.
Negations
Negaciones

Como ya mencionado, el verbo "to be" y el tiempo del futuro que contienen will son negado por not.

  She isn't perfect.
Ella no es perfecta.
  They won't live here.
Ellos no vivirán aquí.

La mayoría de otros verbos en presente son negados por poner do y not delante del verbo.

  I don't understand Russian.
Yo no comprendo ruso.
  Susan didn't understand.
Susan no entendió/comprendió.
  He doesn't speak Chinese.
Él no habla chino.
  They don't speak English well. Ellos no hablan inglés bien.
  Don't speak to the enemy.
No hables con el enemigo.
  She doesn't talk to strangers.
Ella no habla con extraños
